Ready Mobile Apps & Website

Goals & Challenges: The startup online pharmacy brand needed a seamless customer experience from website to mobile apps. The Ready patient portal mobile app, where customers could manage their treatments and communicate with physicians, would be the most important piece. Registration also included a short medical history questionnaire, which had to be efficiently designed or risk users abandoning the process.

Idea: The patient portal app is simple and would only feature essential functionality to manage your treatments, orders, and personal info. Leading up to engagement with the mobile app, the website's aim was to communicate the simple yet discreet process of getting ED medications through Ready, and to convince them that getting treatment was easier than they might think.

Ease of Use

A familiar UX pattern of having the main navigation easily accessible for one-hand use at the bottom of the screen was employed, along with having the user account link top right. The user's dashboard shows all their treatment plans whether pending or active, instead of treatments being listed in a separate navigation item of their own, allowing for quicker access to detailed plan information.

Website

Ready addresses the awkwardness of talking about ED head-on with messaging that's confident yet casual, and a website that explains the simple and discreet process of getting medication. "Start your online visit" is used as the call-to-action across the site to emphasize how quickly the customer could be on their way to treatment.

Registration Flow

The intake questionnaire is designed using a mobile-first methodology, with a single column of large buttons and short descriptions for quick comprehension and easy interaction. A progress bar shows users exactly how long to expect the questionnaire to be, and the process is separated into two categories - medical and social - to provide another break a little over halfway through to remind uses that they're close to being done.

Provider and Admin Portals

The Provider Portal allows telemedicine providers to review new patient applications, approve or deny prescriptions, message or schedule video chats with patients, and see a patient's medical questionnaire responses and history of encounters. Additionally, an administrator portal provides back-end access to the Ready application.
